NA - Not Applicable - Apparently some undetermined system change (Windows XP security upgrades?) that is unrelated to the processor upgrade has affected how the disk drive performance ratings readings are reported in PassMark 4.0. Separate tests with HD Tach have shown that there actually is no degradation in hard drive performance. The current hard drive's performance is still in line with other SATA drives of the same size and speed. For this reason a new benchmark comparison was run with PassMark 5.0 to evaluate the performance with the system with the XP-M 2500+.
*Slight deterioration in graphics performance is attributable to increasing the display resolution from 1024x768
to 1152x1164 to support a new larger monitor.
** Signficant deterioration in 2D graphics performance possibly attributed to increasing display resolution to
1280x1024 or change in video card architecture.
