These ratings, in conjunction with the photographs, are an attempt to help you determine which falls you want to see and in which order.  Some notes may be helpful. 

I have used a four star scale to rate each fall on the above criteria.  All of the falls with scenic designations of  and  are definitely worth while seeing.  We visited all of these falls in August or early September, and since foliage and water flow change with the season, the appearance of these falls may differ at other times of the year.

I have included ratings on accessibility on foot from the nearest paved road. Obviously your access to the trail head will depend on where you are driving, biking, or hiking from. 

Trails rated  are regularly maintained and are usually paved, graded, or include board walks.  Conditions of trails are always subject to change, and since the terrain near water falls tends to be steep, rocky, and slippery you are urged to always exercise caution.  Please pay attention to posted warnings to stay on the trails.
