Highland Mary Lakes Hike - 10.6 The little white spec at the middle of the left edge of this picture is a shepherd's cabin. We met three backpackers at this spot and had a good time "shooting the breeze" with them. One of them was on a two week solo trek.

Highland Mary Lakes Hike - 11.6 Another shepherd's Camp. His horse was tethered nearby, but the shepherd must have been even higher up with the sheep.

There are sheep all over the top of the mountain in the center of the photo. See them?

Highland Mary Lakes Hike - 13 Returning Along Continental Divide Scenic Trail

Highland Mary Lakes Hike 14 Heading back down into Cunningham Gulch. The 8 mile hike took us about 6 1/2 hours. By the end we were really tired (including Amber) from the altitude and steep rocky trails. It was a great hike though. Return to Highland Mary Lakes Hike - Part I
